Thanks To The Super Fan

It's been a good few days on the road. Crowds were sparse in Winnipeg and Brandon, but last night's crowd in Regina was decent.
We spent the night at the luxurious Inn towner Motor Lodge. Cheapest place in town for all you musicians who travel through here.

Although no one came to the show in Winnipeg, the bar owner, Greg , was really cool. He let us crash at his place, which was in this old mansion. It was pretty neat. If anybody reading this knows people in Winnipeg, tell them about our show coming up at Shannon's on Wednesday June 11th.

As I said , the crowd in Brandon was sparse, which is not totally unexpected for a Tuesday night. But at the same time, I have to say it was getting me down a bit. At least, it was, until Travis walked in.

Turns out that Travis is a super fan. He had bought a copy of Never Shed No Tears last time we were through, and it has become one of his favorite albums. He was so excited to see us. His eyes were as big as saucers as he said," Oh my God ! " "Tom Savage !" "This is awesome!".

His enthusiasm sure made my day.

Last night at the Bushwakker, we loaded up on Pale Ale and played some tunes. had a good time. Sold CDs. Got little sleep.

Off to Redcliff.

Cheers,
Tom
