6 Months Since the Release of "The Controller's Exam" + Concert at the RCHA in Kingston!

 Hello Friends!  

It has been six months since the release of our debut studio album, The Controller's Exam...

Time flies when you're rockin' and rollin'!

We are incredibly proud of this record, and it has been fun travelling around Ontario and performing the songs for fans new and old.

We are super-appreciative of the support from our fans! This project, for a DIY band like ourselves, was a big undertaking....the trip to Athens, Georgia to record with David Barbe...recording and mixing to analog tape...and then releasing the album on double vinyl.

It was not cheap!!!

No record label, no FACTOR, no Canada Council or grants of any kind. Only you guys!

I am so pleased to announce that we have recouped 70% of our expenses through digital, CD, and vinyl sales of the album.

We even made $5.32 from Spotify! 

Alas, the journey continues...still 30% to go...and we are doing our best to spread this music around to new listeners, and to introduce new people to the Dead Root Revival concert experience. But we don't have the music industry machinery behind us. It is vital that YOU continue to spread the word about DRR. It is imperative that YOU buy tickets to our shows...and bring a friend or two.

This is how we get the word out, and this is how DRR can continue to bring you our own unique brand of original retro rock/blues/prog rock/roots rock!

Our next concert is in Kingston on Saturday, September 21st at the RCHA Club. It's actually our first full (2-hour rock show) concert in Kingston since our album release at the Broom Factory this past March.
